As part of our expansion into Belgium, we are hiring an Account Executive to launch and structure our presence in this strategic market. Reporting to the International Development Director, you will act as the local point of contact and work autonomously across the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to closing new deals.

Key responsibilities

  1. Lead acquisition & qualification

  • Identify, target, and map high-potential prospects interested in Energy Management solutions

  • Understand client needs to position EMS, energy services, and BMS offerings effectively

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities

2. Offer presentation & EMS demonstration

  • Lead client meetings end-to-end, from needs discovery to data collection

  • Deliver compelling SaaS platform demonstrations

  • Define next steps and move opportunities forward in the sales cycle

3. Development of complex offers

  • Create tailored commercial proposals in collaboration with technical teams (Energy Managers, IoT and BMS experts)

  • Respond to public tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

4. Negotiation and closing

  • Manage the full B2B sales cycle from prospecting to closing

  • Lead negotiations and secure long-term client partnerships

5. Market intelligence

  • Monitor public tenders and regulatory developments

  • Conduct competitive analysis and maintain battlecards

  • Stay up to date with market trends and key industry players

Job requirements

Education

  • Master’s degree, ideally with a specialization in Business or Marketing Professional

Skills

  • Strong experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with long decision processes

  • Mastery of sales methodologies (BANT, MEDDIC, BEBEDC) Proven ability in pipeline management and KPI tracking

  • Skilled in objection handling and negotiation Experience with sales tools: CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive or equivalent) / B2B data intelligence platforms (e.g., Surfe, Sales Navigator or similar) / Quotation tools (e.g., GetAccept or similar)

  • Knowledge of the Energy Management market is a plus (regulations, key players, etc.)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Strong advisory mindset with the ability to educate clients

  • Autonomous, organized, and resilient

Languages

  • Native proficiency in Flemish/Dutch

  • Professional proficiency (C1) in either French or English
